GIBSONVILLE - Deputies are asking for help identifying a woman who tried to pass a stolen check from a residential break-in in Gibsonville earlier this month.

On Nov. 11, deputies investigated a residential burglary in Gibsonville that resulted in the theft of cash, checks and jewelry, according to a Guilford County Sheriff's Office news release.

Later that day, a woman tried to pass a stolen check from the break-in at a bank along Battleground Avenue in Greensboro.

Deputies are asking anyone with information about the woman's identity to call Detective I.T. Holahan at 449-6400 or Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.

Callers may remain anonymous.
